A Flagship Career Development Initiative by Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh & Richa Dahiya
Designing Paths. Building Futures.
Careers Decode Blueprint is a free career-development platform that brings together AI-assisted career exploration, professional preparation, practical planning, and learning resources. Created for students, graduates, young professionals, and individuals considering a career transition, it helps users understand their options and take meaningful steps towards their future.
I conceptualized and developed this initiative around a clear belief: quality career guidance should be accessible, practical, and connected to the realities of each individual’s life.
Drawing on my experience across government banking, technology, entrepreneurship, education, and mentoring, I wanted to create a platform that supports the journey from self-discovery to preparation and action.

The vision behind the initiative
Career decisions shape how people learn, work, and contribute to society. Yet many individuals make these decisions with limited guidance, fragmented information, or pressure to follow a predetermined path.
Careers Decode Blueprint encourages users to examine their interests, recognize their strengths, identify areas for development, and explore alternatives thoughtfully. It combines personalized guidance with tools that help users create a résumé, prepare for interviews, organize their learning, and translate ambition into manageable tasks.
The platform’s career tools are free to visitors, with no mandatory registration or credit-card requirement.
A complete collection of career-development tools
- AI Career Navigator and Personalized Career Blueprint
The Career Navigator uses a structured questionnaire to explore the user’s education, interests, skills, work preferences, and aspirations. Optional questions add context about career stage, experience, learning time, budget, and practical constraints.
The personalized blueprint brings together:
- Suggested career directions and explanations of their relevance.
- A profile summary grounded in the user’s answers.
- A comparison of the leading three career options.
- Identified strengths, skill gaps, and learning priorities.
- Skills and course recommendations, with opportunities to research.
- Practical actions for the next 30, 60, and 90 days.
- A six-month career-development roadmap.
- Beginner projects and portfolio-building ideas.
- Questions to investigate before committing to a pathway.
- Clear next steps.
The report distinguishes supplied information from AI interpretation and explains the limitations of its suggestions. A print-friendly layout allows users to print their blueprint or save it as a PDF through their browser.
- Free Résumé Builder
The résumé builder helps users present their education, experience, and achievements in a clear professional format.
It supports contact information, a professional summary, education, employment, projects, skills, certifications, achievements, languages, and optional volunteering or extracurricular activities.
Users can:
- Add, edit, remove, and reorder entries.
- Review changes through a live preview.
- Use a readable, single-column template.
- Automatically omit empty sections.
- Edit their résumé on mobile or desktop.
- Print or save their résumé as a PDF through the browser.
- Choose to save their work in the current browser.
- Clear saved information through a confirmation control.
Optional AI assistance helps improve wording, draft a summary from supplied information, strengthen descriptions of experience, and suggest relevant keywords from a job description. Suggestions remain subject to the user’s review and should reflect genuine qualifications and experience.
The core résumé editor and printable output remain usable without AI assistance.
- My Action Plan
My Action Plan helps users turn a career goal into a practical routine.
Tasks are organized into four areas: Learning, Projects, Applications, and Networking. Users can set a target career, add and edit activities, assign optional dates, mark tasks complete, and track progress.
Actions from a career report can be brought into the planner and adapted to the user’s circumstances. File export and import provide a way to back up and restore a plan.
Optional browser saving supports continuity without requiring an account. Saved information remains specific to that browser and does not automatically synchronize between devices.
- Interview Practice
The interview-practice tool provides focused, text-based preparation for a selected role and experience level.
Users can generate five relevant questions, write their responses, and receive AI-assisted feedback on:
- Relevance to the question.
- Clarity of expression.
- Structure and organization.
- Use of supporting examples.
- Opportunities to improve the response.
A copyable practice summary allows users to revisit their preparation. The emphasis is on communicating real experience clearly and developing confidence through practice.
- Professional Introduction Builder
This tool helps users explain who they are and what they bring to a professional conversation.
Using information supplied by the user, it creates:
- A brief networking introduction.
- An interview response to “Tell me about yourself.”
- A short professional biography.
Each draft can be edited and copied, helping users tailor their introduction to different audiences while maintaining a natural and credible voice.
- Career Resources and Printable Worksheets
The resource library provides a starting point for further research through links to official sources covering:
- School and stream choices.
- Higher education.
- Government and private-sector career exploration.
- Skills and digital learning.
- Entrepreneurship.
- International education and opportunities.
- Social-impact careers.
Search and filtering help users locate relevant resources and understand their purpose and intended audience.
Two printable worksheets support practical planning:
- Career Comparison Worksheet: assess different pathways against personal interests, priorities, and requirements.
- Weekly Learning Plan: organize learning goals, activities, and progress.
Users can follow the official links to confirm current eligibility requirements, deadlines, and opportunity details.
- SDG Navigator and SDG Project Planner
The SDG Navigator helps users explore how their interests, skills, and career ambitions connect with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The project-planning feature develops an idea into a practical starting plan, including:
- A locally relevant project suggestion.
- An explanation of its proposed SDG connection.
- Intended beneficiaries.
- A 30-day activity plan.
- Resources required.
- Types of collaborators to approach.
- An editable budget worksheet.
- Indicators for tracking progress.
- Responsible next steps.
The tool encourages users to consider how their learning and professional capabilities can contribute to their communities. Project suggestions and budgets are starting points for further assessment.
Designed for practical, everyday use
A consolidated Free Tools area makes the platform’s features easier to discover and navigate. Mobile-friendly layouts, editable outputs, copying controls, and printing options support use across different stages of the career-development process.
FAQ and privacy information explain how the tools work, what browser saving means, and how information is used for AI processing. Users choose whether to use AI assistance and remain responsible for reviewing generated content.
The platform’s tools are free to visitors. AI features remain subject to availability and usage limits. Guidance is educational and should be considered alongside independent research and appropriate professional advice.
The book behind the platform
The initiative is inspired by Careers Decode Blueprint: Designing Paths, Building Futures, co-authored by Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh and Richa Dahiya, and available on Amazon.
The book explores career choices, personal development, emerging skills, entrepreneurship, and the changing world of work. It includes a preface by Mr. Dhanendra Kumar, Founding Chairman of the Competition Commission of India and former Secretary to the Government of India.
The book and the digital platform offer complementary ways to engage with career development: thoughtful reading, personal reflection, structured exploration, and practical preparation.
The book is available for purchase separately from the website’s free services.
